People prepare for Maghe Sankranti Festival in Nepal

Local people prepare molasses (Chaku in local language) for Maghe Sankranti Festival in Lalitpur, Nepal, Jan. 6, 2014. Molasses is usually prepared and consumed during the festival and throughout winter by Nepalese. Concentrated sugarcane juice, jaggery, ghee and nuts are the basic ingredients.
